Book Author RRP You pay Complete Wing Chun, Ritche & Chu. £9.95 £8.00
An extensive history of wing chun, the different strains of this system and some really interesting history of it's evolution. Very interesting but not a "how to" book. Deceptive Hands of Wing Chun by Wong £7.99 £5.99
Small little introductory type book based round chun kiu and it's applications. Advanced Wing Chun by W.Cheung £15.99 £12.99
Possibly Cheungs best book. Loads of techniques, principles and applications. Form is different to ours but loads of pictures and techniques explained. Chum Kiu Level Wing Chun Kung Fu by Lee £10.99 £8.50
Almost a manditory text for the new student. Introduces wing chun simply and clearly and contains everything for the first years study. Based around sil lim tao and interestingly was actually written by Bruce Lee with James Yim Lee. James Yim Lee was dying when it was published and Bruce Lee signed over his part of the book to James's widow in order to help support her. Based round Sil Lim Tao and is very very similar to our version. This book is a must. Wing Chun/Jeet Kune Do by Cheung £12.99 £8.99
Interesting comparison of principles. Breaking power of Wing Chun by A. Goh £8.99 £7.99
Practical Chin na by Zhas £12.99 £9.99
Wing Chun Bill Jee by Cheung £9.99 £8.99
Bil Jee is completely different to ours, loads of illustrations and useful stuff but his power generation and application of some of the usual wing chun principles appear open to question. Path to Wing Chun by s.kwok £11.99 £10.99
Kung Fu History Philosophy & Techniques by Chow £12.95 £9.99

Secret Tech. of Wing Chun by Chao 3 volumes A cracking little set of books, illustrations are a little 1970's but otherwise gives a concise outline of techniques, applications, training regiemes and supplementary exercises. Broadly speaking vol 1 equates to Sil Lim Tao, vol 2 chum kiu, vol 3 bil jee. Volume 1 £9.99 £8.99
Volume 2 £9.99 £8.99
Volume 3 £9.99 £8.99
All 3 volumes £30.00 £24 Wing Tsun Kuen by Leing Ting £28.99 £22.99

Mauy Thai by Kraitus. £30.99 £24.99 This book is lush, and quite literally the Mauy Thai bible. A4 hard back, expensive but worth it. Tons of illustrations, learn the horrendously powerful techniques, excellent for cross trainers. Modern Arnis £12.99 £8.99 Sudden Violent art of San soo £12.99 £9.99 Serrado Escrima £13.99 £11.99 Stretching and Kicking £8.99 £5.99 The Tao of Jeet KuneDo £12.99 £9.99 Interesting book. Written by Bruce Lee? Yes and no. This book was written after his death by a journalist and some of his students. It was written using his notes and drawings. Lee always wanted to write a book on his own style and kept notes for that purpose. However he died leaving huge amounts of notes and thoughts on millions of little bits of paper. More a scrap book on combat and his answer to its many problems. Offers tons of tips and techniques each individual one a gem in its own right. The problem with this book is that there are so many gems presented to you it is possible to read through the book and miss them all. I think this book is a must for the serious martial artist but you need to be fairly advanced to appreciate what is on offer.
Thai Boxing Dynamite £12.99 £9.99 Nice A4 soft cover and introduction to mauy thai. Nice clear illustrations though a fairly basic introduction.
The way alone, training without a partner £9.99 £7.99 Nice book, loads of tips and pictures very good value for money but..... It's written by a karate man. A cracking little book if you can apply the training techniques to wing chun. Gives loads of power and fitness tips. I like this book but you have to be open minded.
