All weapons basically fall into 2 categories, training aids or ornamental weapons. Inspite of the nonsense provided by the manufacturers if it is not a training weapon it is decoration. Any attempt to practice with live blades is foolish and very dangerous. When practising live blade to live blade ornamental weapons will very quickly become ruined as they are not correctly tempered for blade to blade contact.
